Before you ask…

No. We didn’t “plan” it.

Yes. We do know what causes it.

We have five. This makes six. And it’s probably not the last. We like our kids.

I’m due in the Spring.

No, I didn’t change my mind about homebirth. And, yes, I want to go unassisted again. Thank you for your concern.

I am thrilled, of course! A little shocked, but thrilled. (Marc is, too.)

Haven’t barfed yet, but it is still early. I expect that any day now I will be lying on the couch, hugging my barf pan. Not feeling too hot, but I got dressed today.

The kids are rooting for a brother, but we all know how good we Jacksons are at making girls, so….

  1. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I am so excited for you! Oh, how I wish I had your strength, I always planned on having a plethora of kidlets, clearly that’s not working out at this point. 😉

Praying that you are miraculously free of morning sickness this time!!!

    What a blessing!

  2. OOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!! Praise God for this indescribable gift!

I “knew” it, too. I’d been thinking it since I “met” you. 🙂

    GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

Six is a good number. So is 16. God knows what he’s doing.

You know, when people ask if we knew what was causing it, I just told them, “ohhh, yeaaaah. we like it and we’re gonna keep doing it!” Usually shut them up. 🙂

Homebirth is awesome. Why would you change your mind???

Oooh, I am so excited for you! Congratulations!

  3. Oh my gosh!! Congratulations!

Let me also say that better you than me! With one on her way out the door and the other to follow in two years, I am happy to be finished!

But, I can live vicariously through you!!

Looking forward to all of your preggy posts!!

  4. How wonderful!!

I have a WHOLE LIST of things I saw when people say things like, “Dontcha know what causes that?” (Or my pet peeve rude comment that I *occasionally* hear “Keep ur legs together” Ugh!). One of my favorites is “We aren’t stopping until we have our own little army.” Or, “We are not stopping until we outnumber the stupid people.” I also use BWYA’s “We are good at it. And we like it.”

Homebirth is awesome!! I have never done one unassisited. I am assuming it is pretty much the same thing, but with no one else but your hubby/family there – which is pretty much what my last two births were like. I am glad you are birthing at home. It will be awesome for you (again)!

Can’t wait to see the baby knits!

  5. Congratulations! Six is a good number. My good friend has six and there will likely be another next year.

I would have loved a homebirth, but I have such horrible luck birthing that it’s almost ‘funny’. With two severely premature babies, I’m not even that good at pregnancy! I’m so, so glad that things go well for you!

I can’t wait to see the new one’s face!
