Ever feel your inadequacy so keenly, that it hurts? That is the day I am having. Apparently, I can’t balance a check book – we are overdrafted. I can’t knit a cable – I lost a purl stitch… somewhere. (I don’t know where. I can’t find it AT ALL.) I can’t fix the leaky faucet – instead, I make a simple task MUCH worse for my hubby. I can’t fasten a diaper right, which leads to cleaning poo out of the crib. And, I can’t plan ahead, which is why I have a pattern and yarn for a top that I can’t knit because I don’t have size 000 needles. Urghh. I wanna go back to bed…. after a good cry.
Hope your weekend is going better.
We all have these kind of days, don’t be so hard on yourself!
A good cry is a good thing sometimes.
my mantra….
“This too shall pass, this too shall pass”
I have a great big hug for you Shelli, it will be here waiting till I see you again.
Oh man, I feel inadequate quite often. I’m sorry you’re having a rough day, hang in there Mama! God wouldn’t have given you the tasks if He didn’t think you were capable :o)
I *hate* it when I miss a “0” or a “10” somewhere and my checkbook gets off. I feel ya. And the diaper thing – sorry. I wish there were some kind of way to get evry size needle you need without breaking the bank.
Have a good weekend dear. 🙂
Sorry yesterday was a bad one… hope you have a better day today…
LOL! I need a “pity party” category! why didn’t I think of that? Everyone else has such better ideas than me. =(
LOL Just kidding. 😉
I have a big candle mold making project up my sleeve, and since we only have one car right now I went to walmart to get the containers I needed before hubby left for work today. I conveniently did not get enough. So, I’m feeling you on the not being prepared for a project you’d really like to do thing.
And it’s raining.
Awwww…you poor dear!!!! I think I have at least one day a week like this!! HUGS!
BTW, I thought I was subscribed to your blog, but oh my gosh, I wasn’t! Tsk, tsk! Your blog is lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
